- A Genlock is only necessary if you wish to overlay Amiga graphics over an
- incoming video signal (for titling or whatever).

- You can record directly from the modulator output onto video tape. Make sure
- the screenmode you use is compatible with the video recorder you are using -
- in your case I guess it that would be NTSC/Laced, unless you have a
- multi-standard recorder which supports PAL &c as well.

- Note that the final recording quality will be much better if both your Amiga
- and your video recorder are equipped with SCART connectors - most video
- recorders made these days will, and Amiga SCART adaptors are easy to build.
